Project Title: Carouskel JSK
Short Project Description: A few days ago, I started to make a jumperskirt out of the awesome carouskel fabric I bought from Spoonflower. The jumperskirt will have a sweetheart-neckline and a bustleback, made out of ivory chiffon. At the back, it will have a corset lacing.
Projected Deadline: Feburary, the 2nd
Pattern(s) Used: The jumperskirt pattern from glb 42 for the bodice and a self-drafted pattern for the skirt
Materials needed: Ivory carouskel fabric, ivory lining fabric, ivory chiffon, a zipper, some ribbon for the corset lacing, white and ivory/gold thread
Challenges or obstacles: It's the first time I'm sewing a bustle back and the first time I'm lining a whole dress. I only used lining for a jacket and a highwaist skirt before, so I'm quite nervous. Another problem is time, because I only have one and a half week left and no time on saturday.
Buuuuut, I got a new dressform for Christmas! It will make sewing the dress so much easier! Thanx mum :*
