CODE GEASS IS AWESOME. It appeals to me mostly because the characters have very detailed backgrounds/histories that are revealed to us bit by bit. The socio-political aspects of the story are also very well done.

Anyway, the first season blew me away, and the second season began airing in Japan just hours ago. *excitement*

So OMG I just finished watching season 1 of code geass!!! IT IS AWESOME! But now I really need to watch some happy, shoujo anime.. I cried and got so depressed when charas didn't hook up or when they turned against each other. lol Now I have to find R2...

My favourite couple in the whole show is Ougi/Viletta. Even though it turned out completely one-sided. ;-;

What I love most about the series is how my perceptions of the characters were always drastically altered in ways I had never thought possible. For instance, I adored Suzaku until he broke my heart.
