Some time ago I had an idea abotu writing a fic where Rodney can't speak and all the emotions he'd go through. Reading your fic made me realise that wouldn't be the worst thing for him.

Ah, true, being mute would not be the worst thing. I do think that Rodney talks as much with his hands as he does with his voice. Being blind or paralysed... ach, I do not even want to think about it.
