Man, this is lovely. The fairy tale theme has been exploited again and again in fic, but you actually made it work again in a decidedly unique way. There are so many lines that are tingling with pretty prose, and I love the odd sort of bitterness you use to describe the ninth season. This whole thing rings very, very true. The characterization, the language, everything.
