Thank you for the link! That was a very interesting essay. I've wondered (and tried to reason out myself with limited success, lol) how aware Snape was of the danger he was in because of the wand and whether or not Dumbledore realized Snape's death was inevitable and didn't care, seeing him simply as a pawn. I'm glad to see some arguments to the contrary.
