What I Just Finished Reading: Three books this week, but only one good one. I read Goblin by Josh Malerman, The Perfect Guy Doesn't Exist by Sophie Gonzalez, and The Dead Lands by Benjamin Percy. Reviews below.

As someone who has been battling an invasion since August, something like The Hatching would be a true horror. LOL

Bummer that your week was mostly a letdown, but yay for one good book! Hoping that this week is better for you.

Oh god. I am TERRIFIED of bugs, so I would just burn it all down and start over.

Most don't bother me, but I hate ants. There's never just one, always a damn horde. And trust me, I'm tempted to set fire to my kitchen to just get RID OF THEM.

I normally enjoy his work, but I have to agree with you about Goblin. Some authors shouldn't write short stories. His get away from him and drone on and on.
