So glad to hear that Malorie held up to Bird Box! I'm going to have to read that one now.

Yeah, I was really impressed that he was able to maintain the tension and also add some surprises. I'm definitely looking into finding some other stuff by him.

Sorry to hear about Draculas. I will be getting to it eventually, but with less enthusiasm.

I did like Malorie, though not as much as Bird Box. Do still wonder about the "monsters."

Yeah, Draculas was unfortunately so over-the-top and cheesy. Just wasn't for me.

I liked that he kept the ambiguity about the creatures because whatever he made it turn out to be would never live up to what our imaginations show us.
