You had a real mixed bag of books last week. Hoping this week is better, or at least, more consistent.

I really should stop with the cozy mysteries. I found that one set that I originally enjoyed and then every other author I've tried it just hasn't worked for me. I think I just lucked out the first time.

Lately, cozies have been so hit or miss. And I tend to read a lot of them. There are some really good series out there and then there are... the rest. LOL

Sad to read that Certain Dark Things didn't work for you. I haven't read it, but I loved Mexican Gothic, and I have Silver Nitrite in my TBR pile.

The vampire aspect was just so underdone, plus like I said I enjoy a classic vampire more. Hopefully you'll enjoy it once you get to it.
