Little update. Things have been a big struggle in so many ways that I won't get into. But to focus on the computer stuff only: the internet connection thing is better than it was. I'll have a couple of days of stability but then for example last Friday I had a day where the connection dropped literally a dozen times. I am still feeling much better

Yikes, that was a rough reading week! As for Pageboy, not everyone is cut out to write their own story. Bummer that it wasn't better though.

OOOH. I hope you enjoy As You Wish. I have the audiobook and Cary is an amazing narrator!

Sorry to hear that all three books don't seem to have hit the mark for you this week. I was especially interested to hear about Elliot Page's book, but it sounds like it could definitely have been better!

I felt the same way about Second Sleep, ugh. I couldn't get past how society's regression was presented - even if technology was now considered evil by the society, I couldn't see how it wouldn't still have impacted the structure of the new society. Completely unsatisfying in all the ways you mention.
