What I Just Finished Reading: Since last week I read a quick little novel, The Dogs of Christmas by W. Bruce Cameron, and Fairy Tale, Stephen King's latest monster. Reviews below.

What I'm Reading Right Now: I just started the 4th book in the Ex-Heroes series by Peter Clines, Ex-Purgatory.

My co-worker said the first 2/3 of Fairy Tale were great, but it flopped after that. LOL Glad you enjoyed both of these.

Hah, and I felt the first 1/3rd was a bit stiff and then it got better in the final 2/3rds! I guess it just depends on what type of story you prefer, because it is a bit of a mish mash.

Both of those books are on my TBR pile, but I don't think I could handle the first one right now, and I'm way back in line at the library for the second. Nice to know I have something to look forward to.

I totally get ya about wanting to stay away from anything that'll cause tears to be shed.

I put myself on the library list the day that Fairy Tale came out at the beginning of September and I was #150. It took almost four months for me to reach the top of the list. I hope it's quicker for you!
