I expected this to be a normal workday for me, until Amy suggested a trip downtown and lunch out. We ended up spending most of the day downtown. Hooray for the day out! That kind of walking is the best because you don't realize how much of it you're doing. Man, I could live off Mexican food. Flautas are one of my favorite things in the world. And the only thing better than mango margaritas are prickly pear margaritas! Not sure if that's just a thing here in the southwest where they grow freely, but man, they are so good.
Love that your friend took the time out to surprise yo like that, too.

I do not get to go to Mexican restaurants often enough! But that might be a good thing because I would weigh even more, LOL. I had never even heard of flautas before but it was really good, and just the right level of spice. I have heard of prickly pear but I don't think I've ever seen it on a menu here. But honestly, any kind of margarita is a good margarita. This restaurant also has raspberry and lime, so I really think I ought to go back a few more times so I can sample all three. :D

We do, way too much, but luckily, you can find healthier options. Prickly pear is so good. I can sometimes even find them in the grocery stores here (when Maddie's bearded dragon was still alive, he ate them). I do agree - I made cranberry margaritas on NYE and Taylor had a guava one at dinner one night. Hahahaha - great idea. Go and try all the margaritas!
