Y'know, if we have to have a zombie apocalypse, I want John McClane on my side. (Look how fast he picked up on shooting the walkers in the head) And Matt too, because he'd know what to do.

While I was reading this, I kept wondering what would happen if they went south to Georgia after they got Lucy, who of course would be kicking zombie ass. Or if Rick, Daryl, and the rest of their team wound up in New Jersey. ;-)

I just LOVE that you referred to the zombies as walkers!!! I have to admit, I made sure not to use the word 'zombie' because part of me is also wondering what might happen if John and Matt decide to head south. I already know what would potentially happen in the next part of the story. LOL Damn these zombieverses are addictive!

What I love about this is this is so totally what would happen. This is so totally why these two would survive. Matt would be onto this thing way before it made its way to their door and John would be READY. Because he's John. :)

As always you remember to put such interest and detail in, like the nightgown and the lilacs. Painting a picture that is more than just the bare bones of what the story needs for us to get it, and making us *feel* it instead. And you do it like falling off a log which kills me. Awesome!

Matt would TOTALLY be on it. I pictured him with a big map and thumbtacks representing possible infection sites, and checking every online version of the daily paper in every little town. I should have added a Matt POV section. Damnit.
