Yay! Zoos!

The animal before the emu is most likely an alpaca or a llama.

YES THANK YOU, LLAMA! There was a whole thing about feeding the llamas so I totally should have remembered. They were so adorable.

I adore seeing animals in a lovely relaxed environment.

You look fabulous!

Those drinks look yummy. We started a heatwave yesterday and it could go for 7 days!

Yes, it was just a series of fenced areas and it's all funded by donations. It just isn't enough room for the big animals, though. It was cool seeing a buffalo so close but I'd rather NOT have seen him and know that he had more room to roam. But I think they are nearing extinction so I guess they have to do what they can to keep the population alive.

Aww, thank you. I think that's what I'm gonna wear to meet the Reedus in August. :)

Still superhot here, too. I've spent tonight either sleeping or in front of the fan!

Love that they have some Aussie animals at the zoo, looks like a fabulous place.

Maybe they're yaks?

... looks like a llama or alpace to me. :)

Those drinks do look delicious, just the thing for a hot day.

Yup, I was surprised to see a wallaby! They are super cute! (And yes, those were definitely LLAMAS. Thank you!)

I'm craving one of those drinks right now.
