Hee. I haven't seen any of these so ngl, the hilight of this is the random patch of silver in that scruff up there.

BUT. Six Ways to Sunday sounds interesting. And...lol I'm kind of surprised you liked everything too, but maybe shouldn't be given all the shirtlessness. The one that really surprises me is Octane though. Mischa Barton? lol Doesn't seem like your bag. Plus. No shirtless scene.

Go fig.

MMMMRIGHT? So. ridiculously. hot. I don't even know. (I love that pic, too. Mmmmm. *gazes* where was I?)

Hee, well Mischa IS annoying, but then she's meant to be. The film itself is just so freakin' weird, and it's the whole vibe of it that I love. It's like.. the whole is better than the parts. *nods*

Plus. No shirtless scene. Go fig.

LOL Apparently I also like this guy for his acting. Who knew? ;)

I thought of you when i was watching it! I was all, lipstickcat was right -- SO WORTH TRACKING DOWN AND BUYING! I think it might be my favourite of all the ones I've seen so far, probably fighting it out for top spot with the original Boondock. :)

I don't know if you've seen this quote, but I wanted you to see it! I want to see this movie.

Wes Anderson on casting Bruce Willis as a sheriff:

"We had this policeman who is lonely and insecure, and yet, when I was thinking about who could play this, I wanted somebody where, as you got to know his personality and see what a sad character he was, you would get that thing that you sort of get with real police. You can tell when somebody's a cop. There is something that's often projected from an actual policeman, and Bruce Willis has this cop authority, where even if he's playing something away from what he normally plays, you would never question whether Bruce Willis is the police."

Hee, yup, of course, been following the Moonrise Kingdom hubbub for a while. It's actually not playing here, and I have to admit I'm a little bit glad. I really tend to not like these kind of 'quirky' movies that get massive critical acclaim. I'm happy enough to wait for DVD on this one.

It's playing here but I still haven't seen it. I'll probably join you in DVD watching.
