Okay. So today I go to get online and I get this message saying that "the computer does not have a wireless network adapter installed and configured". I thought this meant that my router was fucked up, but my nephew Robbie, aka The Computer God, talked me through a bunch of stuff and he figured out that my computer is not recognizing the wireless ( Read more... )

Yeah, my brother-in-law said the same thing. I did that -- twice -- and no result. I'm planning on trying that option again later though. Thanks. :)

Awww.. I hate computer problems. Luckily, I have a little computer helper just like your nephew. I'd be lost without him.

Seriously, I was almost crying last night! I can't afford to get anything replaced/repaired on the computer right now. When Robbie explained that I could plug in directly to the router, I was so relieved. It's a little awkward having cords strung across the living room, but it's better than not getting online!
