I knew David A's going to sing "Angels". I love that song from Robbie Williams. And earlier, a radio station played it. Again. LOL! And thus, that song tune is still in my head. Like Simon had said, that song is unfamiliar to the American audience. That song is hugely popular in Asian market and the UK and Ireland. So, it's understandable if you don't remember it though.
Anyways, my bottom 3 prediction? Michael Johns, Syesha Mercado and Carly Smithson. Michael Johns might be saved though. And it could be an all-girls bottom 3. If that's the case, in replacement of Michael Johns would be Kristy Lee Cook.
I keep on meaning to respond to all of your Idol posts and I have them saved and everything and then I feel like my comment is way late so anyway! Here's this one. I really wish I went to the taping of this one rather than the two I went to, because those were boring. The only 'inside' story that I have is that Brooke repeated that Police song that she sang a couple of times because she messed up the first time. Rehearsals seem like they're more fun than the tapings just because the Idol people are more relaxed. They definitely sing better there than on the show because of the pressure. Oh, the pressure

I only started watching AI in S5 and got totally addicted. In S5 I was solidly behind Bucky (despite the fact that I normally hate 95% of country music) and very invested in his success. Watching him perform was stressful! In S6 I didn't really have a singing favourite but I adored Sanjaya because of his pluckiness. This is the first season that I don't have a clearcut fave that I'm either rooting for to win or looking forward to his ballsiness. I like this crop of singers a lot though, so I'm enjoying myself.
You probably glanced up from your bottle when Queen hit the Live Aid stage. *nods* :D
As you pointed out before, Carly always sings as if she's angry or constipated. Or both! She's scary when she sings. It's very unpleasant to watch her and I don't understand why she hasn't corrected herself.
I have a MAJOR problem with Brooke and I want her to GO! Last week in the L.A. Times, the reporter said that after the bottom 3 was announced, Brooke was sobbing so hard during the commerical break that most of the production crew had to console her. After the commerical break, when asked about her sobbing, she said it was because of the clip of the African children and Dolly Parton's song. Right!! It was because Miss Diva couldn't believe she was in the bottom three!
