This week, it's the songs of Lennon/McCartney. I'm sad that it's not just Beatles Week, because I think Jason Castro would have KILLED on "Here Comes The Sun".

Let me start by saying I am a very big Beatles fan. So tonight was tough but I have to say Chikezie was wonderful. He really sold me on the arrangement. Brooke was great. Amanda was good. Everyone else I pretty much forgot. David A. how could you forget the words? That is sloppy.

I love Chikezie's confidence in himself, and Brooke has such a natural talent. David A. got spooked and lost his confidence, I think. He's a shoo-in to continue on, though.

do you think the pressure is getting to David A, I just feel like they want to take him down a notch because he just so bowled over everyone and I was practically crying for him when he forgot the lyrics. regardless I think he should make it to the final 2. Is Paula getting more annoying or am I just ready to throttle her because I can't listen to her critique when I know she's stoned and/or can't sing herself. Paule just please SHUT UP!

I don't think they wanted to take him down a notch. I think he got the final (pimp) spot because they thought he'd be the best of the night... but then he choked. If he keeps choking, no way he'll make it to the final 2. (I'm not sure he'll make it to the final 2 regardless... there's a LOT of talent this year!)

I actually do think there's a LOT of talent this year. Tonight, I was impressed by Chikezie, Jason, David C., Amanda, Brooke, and Michael. 50% of the competitors. I don't think I've ever been impressed about that many before (and eager to see what they do next.) Then there's David H. who I love despite everything, and David A. who is normally great.

I think Kristy Lee is going to be safe tonight. She was horrible, but she was memorable. LOL
