I'm so happy AI is back too!
I think it's a mistake to sing Elvis on AI because it tends to sound karaoke. I'm glad we saw Danny's auditions to know he has a terrific voice. He has a lot of personality.
I enjoyed David's song. He has a warm and unique voice. It was so endearing to see how shocked he was with all the compliments. I want to adopt him!
Jason Castro was a nice surprise. He made the song sound current and he seems very sweet.

I don't think I'm going to actually get as involved in AI this year (as if I did last year?), but I am DVRing the shows and letting them run while I do other stuff. And if something pulls my attention, I stop, rewind, and watch again.

What pulled my attention with the boys is David A. What a sweet kid, such an amazing voice, and charm to the hilt. If he doesn't make top 12, I'll throw something at the TV (which will ultimately punish me more than it will AI, but you get my point...). :)

I knew you'd love him. His voice is so mature. He's a wee bit too giggly but I'm sure he'll calm down.
