Just got another Trojan virus warning. Can't seem to delete it. It appears to be in something called "System Volume Information" and I'm worried because part of the file name is "_restore (many numbers)". I also found a file called PASSWD.LOG, and when I try to delete it, it says that it's being used by another user ( Read more... )

That PASSWD.LOG does not sound good at all :|

Oy, I'm so sorry, hon. My tummy clenched when I read that passwd.log file. That's so not good. I'd definitely take it in to be professionally cleaned if you can. :S I know how stressful this can be. C'mere, lemme squish you. *squishes*

I am so feeling you on the computer woes thing. For about the last week, almost, my computer has been shutting down at random times, like when I'm in the middle of reading fic! I've run my anti-virus software twice, and it doesn't come back with any hits, so I don't know WTF is up. Yours sounds worse, though. I really don't like the sound of that password log thingy!
