I have been known to have conversations with certain passengers who didn't bother to listen to the many announcements I tend to make on the subject of trains terminating and how to continue their journey. On their part there is often a sense of outrage and a query as to why *this* train can't just continue. Strangely, the answer that I don't fancy driving into a brick wall does not satisfy them and they stomp off to the platform I previously advised no doubt muttering about idiot train companies and their idiot traindrivers. :-D
