I mean, really. Especially since "Children of the Gods" did really well in having continuity with the movie.

I hope they don't get made really. Maybe Kurt Russell will mysteriosuly die soon and it just won't be an option.

Maybe Kurt and James will both say 'Screw this confusing sci-fi movie, let's just stick with what we're doing'. James won some major tv acting award a year ago. He's doing well for himself. Why would he want to do a sequel to a movie that wasn't even a major box office in the first place?

I once picked up one of those Stargate Movie books, and I was confused for a bit, wondering why it was O'Neil with one l, why Sha're was alive and on Earth, why Hathor suddenly ships and where Sam and Teal'c were.
