Saw the doctor today to express some concerns I've been having about my inner workings

...that, and gynaecology in and of itself is still in the Middle Ages when it comes to medicine. So much of even the "official" approach is about hacking and burning things off and shoving women full of carcinogenic hormones, so it's really frightening and infuriating. But the worst thing of all is to go on the internet to try and find out anything about lady part matters; I mean, most people on your side of the pond don't even know what "vagina" means, which never ceases to shock me o_O

Here's hoping everything is fine, though. I know all about the "AAAGH, IS THIS LADY CANCER" thing because they didn't know with me for years and still want to check me from time to time. *EPIC HUGS*

She was more specifically "this is natural hormonal progress as you age" and hasn't suggested any sort of hormone "therapy."

I do feel better just having talked to her, and making my exam appointment. *hugs back*
