A couple of reasons of why I love Ray Doyle

His horrible horrible jokes. That he genuinely thinks they're funny is adorable.

How he seems to believe that walls only exist for him to lean on. Then there's the way he always leans provocatively. Yeah, I think we all know how he payed his way for art school. *cough*rentboy*cough*

FAX and TRU. I love how every slash fandom has someone who is The Manwhore. For certain oldskool slash fandoms, this is doubly true. Doyles and Avons are rare.

Having now watched the series all the way through once, it's nice to go back and rewatch with attention to more details instead of just making sure you're keeping up with the dialogue and plot.

But yes, any sort of vertical surface, whether it be wall, door frame, or post, is not safe from provocative leanings! And if there is no surface to be had and they're standing around a field somewhere? Doyles hands on are on his hips and standing with hip jutted!

It's totally like as if Bodie was James Bond and Doyle was his Bond Girl.
