And from experience, good food could make up for at least 50% of the conversation, sometimes 75% if Puck really outdid himself.
Whilst it is quite sad, I find it interesting that food has become a kind of barrier for Puck to distract from things he might not be so comfortable about. Or, at least, that's how it came across to me here.
He noticed Kurt's eyes were following his every movement.

It adds such depth to Puck's character without you even really realising it.
Thank you! I tend to have this weird philosophy that we are really ourselves when we are eating -- and I kind of enjoy the idea that Puck became more mature through food and cooking... haha, look who's a food!whore too XD

I liked the little bit of reconciling you had between the boys.
Thank you! They're not completely there yet, of course (especially Kurt, he's suffered a lot, poor bb) but I thought it would be nice to smooth things a little between them before their relationship gets further (even if hate!sex is always enjoyable, if you see what I mean =D )
