Okay, this was so much fun! Not because I have any great interest in cuisine or cooking or even the era, but because your excitement just made me smile. It was really interesting on its own, too. Thanks for sharing this.

Thank you very much! Yeah, I didn't think my being a huge nerd about two of my favourite subjects, i.e. history and food, would interest a lot of people, but I just couldn't help myself. I'm so glad that you actually enjoyed this! I shall endeavour to nerd out more often then :D

Lord help me, I am. I'm currently reading the novels and bothering everyone within reach with my screams of "D'ARTAGNAN AND ATHOS ARE SO GAY FOR EACH OTHER YOU GUISE IT'S KILLING ME WITH FEELS". I won't have friends anymore by the end of this. I'm insufferable.
You'll probably hear all about it when I come back to France, we shall meet, and squee, my friend.
