A few random thoughts as I try to finish up a day.  I've realized lately that I have an "ideal" of the way I want my life to be.  I imagine that most people do, and I also wonder if that's healthy since life isn't always what we want.  The frustration of not being in that ideal state can wear me down even further.  Of course, I also think that some ( Read more... )

I've been having a lot of the same issues, and with the same things! I feel like I am finally in a good place with a relationship, being happily married, but my relationships with others, career, finances, health and living conditions? Need a major overhaul.

Your Top 10 list is awesomely cool. Number 3 sounds like a lot of fun, and I wish we were also doing #5. ;-)

Thanks, Hippie, and I really do get the overhaul. Today at lunch, I created a list of 7 things I could do this week (by Saturday at 11:59) that would make things better for the weeks to come. Nothing huge, but if I could get them done, it would be a slightly different life.

I think that I'm learning that change happens mostly by small increments. The big changes do happen from time to time, but small changes seem to be the way to make it happen. It's funny when you look up one day and realize that your life is actually better in a lot of ways...
