As far as I understand it, I have quite a lot of family on these things. I don't think I've really spoken to any of you since Hogwarts. So that makes it about time to appear then, doesn't it?

Well, hello.

Let's see if you remember me.

I'm not sure I know you, but I'd like to introduce myself. I'm Mandy Brocklehurst.

I work with Ginny at the Daily Prophet. Do you have a subscription? Would you like one?

Brocklehurst? I think I recognize the name. I was in Ginny's year-- separate House, though. Didn't exactly speak much to her.

I do have a subscription, but thank you very much for offering.

I was Ginny's year as well. Seperate house also. I was Ravenclaw.

Prewett... Prewett...

Hmmm... Why does that name sound familiar?

You're not the Prewett related to the Weasley clan, are you?

She's my cousin, Zach.

Ah. That would explain the resemblance, then.

It would.

Are you having a nice day?

Ah. Mafalda. So you found your way here too, did you?

Mm, I did. It took a while, but I'm here.

And what you're doing nowadays is...?

I edit the Daily Prophet. You?

Department of Magical Accidents and Catastrophes. Obliviator.

Routine work, and sometimes it feels as if I'm only filling out reports all the time -- but it's alright. And I'm aware you didn't ask how it was, but I felt I'd tell you anyway.

Hello Mafalda. Are you well?

Ah, Ginny-- there you are. I'm doing very well. Buried in the depths of the Ministry, but that's normal.

So I hear you're working for the Prophet.

Inside sources tell me they have a penchant for paperwork over there.

But then I am normally buried under it as well.

Prophet indeed. I see Mandy's already asked you about a subscription. I must have trained her well.

Not just a penchant. More like a bizarre and very odd fetish for it. I think they realize the pain it causes... and then they double it.

And I was surprised at her speed in asking about the subscription. You must get in quite a few this way?

It has been a very long time. I do hope you've been receiving my Christmas cards.

Hello, Aunt Molly!

And I have. Every year, like clockwork. I suppose I'll admit it now: they're all neatly saved in a little box at home. It was... interesting, hearing how the other family was doing.

Oh I'm very glad. I hadn't heard from you in so long that I was worried my address book was outdated.

Yes, I'm sorry I never replied. It just felt a bit odd. I knew so much about your lives, but there wasn't all that much to tell from our side of things.

This seems like a more efficient way to keep in touch, anyhow.
