Well, it's hard to say briefly why and what I liked particularily :)

1. I'm always a bit nutty about characters' being in-character even in the most AU-ish story, but I must say that you depicted them both perfectly:)
2. ...And I simply loved some phrases, really.

I'm sure I'll recover my power of coherent reaction sooner. Or later. I'm betting it's later.

For now, let me just say that this was rather brilliantly done. I like my kink with introspection, actually, and you provided both exceedingly well. The buildup was great, the question of mutual trust, and the whole thing just... yeah, go back to my initial reaction of "Oh hot damn."

WOW.

Finch/ Reese slash is definately one of the best things to wake up to in the morning.

I really like how you have incorporated their trust issues

I'm glad you liked it. I think trust is definitely one of the main issues they would have to overcome in order to have a closer relationship.

"g" I'm glad you thought so. I find Reese's POV of Finch to be very interesting to explore, because I think he's trying to figure out Finch just as much as we are.
I might go into more detail on that sometime. I'm sort of interested in exactly how a courtship between them would work.
I agree, very hot.
