I find myself watching Beauty and the Beast on the CW (...yeah, I know) and just absolutely loving the stupid show to pieces. I never in my life thought I'd be so attached to a character played by Kristin Kreuk (I never thought I'd watch another show with her in it to be honest.) but I just ADORE her. I agree about the chemistry! I wish there was more romance and less procedural though.

I'm fine with the procedural stuff since I think it gives the show some structure. Trust me, you don't want to see the CW go full romance. You basically end up with the Vampire Diaries and its godforsaken endless love triangles.

I do think the procedural parts are kind of ridiculous sometimes. I wish there was a bit more emphasis on the crazy organization behind Vincent's mutation. I mean, they get talked about in regards to how Vincent has to hide from them, but I really want to know what their deal is.

How do you like the ex-fiancee plotline so far?!

I had just passed it by the other day. Is it really a remake of the old series with them underground and everything?

I loved the old show so I'm wondering.

I've never seen the original series but from what I hear, it's pretty different from the original material. Basically Vincent (the beast) is this ex military guy who got into some special ops program where they injected him with something that basically makes him Hulk out whenever he gets pissed off. He saved Katherine from some people who wanted to kill her after they killed her mom.

I'd definitely recommend it. I mean it's not gonna win any awards, but I think it's incredibly entertaining and the OTP has amazing chemistry.

Interesting! I saw Kristin Kreuk and remember her from Smallville so I was curious. I may check it out.
