Just watched the last ep of This is England 88. That episode was pure ugly cry fuel. Every scene was just like one hit after another. If any of you haven't seen this show and the movie I highly recommend you get to it. It is such a forceful drama that it'll leave you breathless ( Read more... )

I have seen this about and was wondering.. Is it "Everyone dies" type? Or just "Life is cruel" type (I need spoilers :D)

Sorry for the super late reply. My bad.

It's definitely a "Life is cruel" type of show. But it also has a lot of humor so it's not like it's some completely overwrought drama. I found that I liked the series more than the movie, which is hard to say since I ADORED the movie. But the series focuses more on the side characters of the movie, which were my favorites.
