Sounds as if they did the forgetting spell because Buffy doesn't know which demon is tracking / following her. LOL sure, they did the spell especially because Buffy doesn't remember her claim bite-mark.
Ah... Buffy is still fighting against it. Just like Spike thought she would.
But I hope she will come around now that she starts to remember.

ah, buffy and spike. never can do things neat and tidy without fists a-flyin'. even the silly stories need a bit of angst. keeps the two of them from melting together into a puddle of marshmallow fluff.

i must say i continue to be shocked and amazed by this unflappable giles. is he some sort of pod giles?

Pod Giles...maybe. Let's just say I <3 him hardcore, especially this season. I admit I'm going off-canon here with this Giles but hopefully my explanation will be palatable. If not, I'm totally cool with it because it's how I do.

What IS in canon, in my opinion, is Buffy's reaction here in this chapter and no matter how much I want them together, it just didn't make a lick of sense. And I feel bad for her, most of all, that she's had all this mystical shit slung in her lap with no control over any of it. Poor thing...at least Spike is really, really hot and eventually, she'll get over it. I mean, come on. Would you resist? No, you wouldn't, because you are Jamie and awesome.

I'm going to stop telling you everything in my brain and move on to the next comment below this one before I type a novel to you. But you'd probably like that, pervert. :)
