so glad you liked it!! jinki is the sweetest babychild omg i adore him so much. and i KNOW KEY CUDDLED HIM when i wrote that part i seriously considered cutting it out, or having onew be the one to cuddle. but i thought it was important to show how key craves affection??? i hope that makes sense

i'm glad you like everything and that you like the development of their relationship. tbh i found it a bit daunting to try to depict a slave/master relationship from the beginning and all and not ruining it, especially because it's the main focus. but knowing that readers like it means a lot!

you're right - i definitely didn't want to make him infallible. as it is now, he's laid-back, calm and gentle. which are good qualities but they have proven to be problematic. he is afraid to speak up for himself, or often others, because he is so laid back that he avoids confrontation. you can see it when he bends to his father's will and goes to the keepers, even when he neglects to warn key about dongwan because he's sort of hoping if he prays hard enough maybe dongwan won't do anything and it will just go away and take care of itself. also, since he is so calm he has never had the feelings key brings out in him - anger when others mistreat key, jealousy, a sense of want that borders on need - which he's first confronted with when jonghyun makes a lewd joke and then later when dongwan touches key. and as the story goes on i hope i can succeed in making onew's character develop.

honestly, i don't want any of my characters to be perfect and i really hope that comes across. they all have their little downfalls.
