I just realized that I haven't really mentioned Doctor Who much since the first couple of episodes of this series. I should probably do something about that, huh?

I think a lot of the issue is that I'm still continuing the same trend that I have been with this series. I either really love or really hate an episode. There hasn't been, well,

I mean, I'm watching it again now, after stopping cold turkey when the Ponds left, so that's something? But yeah. Clara is eh for me and Twelve, I think, still has yet to find his feet and settle into Twelve-ness, if you know what I mean.

I very much do. I'm still not quite at the point where I really see him as The Doctor. Hopefully the next episode or two will get me there?

Yeah here's hoping. I _want_ him to do well, because I don't want tptb to be like "welp, that didn't work, obvs the Doctor needs to be young again" because *sigh*.

I do see him as the Doctor, but right now it's more like his Doctor is a vague, generic, all-of-them-smushed-together-into-a-muddy-blah. He needs something him (and please, God, not a catchphrase).
