It's back! \o/

And, wow, it was surprisingly awesome. I haven't enjoyed an episode that much in some time. (Not counting the anniversary special, which I loved wholeheartedly but falls into its own separate category.)

I wish Barmaid/Governess!Clara had survived and become a member of the Paternoster Gang. So much to love there. And Capaldi is an AMAZING Doctor. Dark and dour and threatening but still just... So... Doctor. What do you think, jumped or pushed? I'm fairly certain jumped, but the fact it's unclear tells you just what kind of Doctor we've got in store.

"You really should make that thing voice-activated... oh, God, it IS, isn't it?"
"I don't want to talk about it."

"Door. Boring. Not me."

And he did the post-regeneration shuffle perfectly. I can't wait to see where he goes from here.

It actually made the - notoriously 'high-brow' - BBC radio 4 news, on account of clocking 7.3 million viewers (which in this country is a lot, around 10% of the population).
