If you haven't heard the news yet, they've officially cast Finnick Odair.

I... have absolutely no opinion on the decision? I don't think that I've seen anything that the actor's been in, so I have no idea whether this is a good thing or a bad thing.

Meh. Not what I imagined. None of the guys have been tbh, although pretty much all the girls have been what I pictured.

Yeah, personally I've always pictured Finnick as being Hispanic, so... :-/

I pictured him as being a tanned Greek God.

ETA: Actually, I pictured him exactly like this greek-israeli actor... who unfortunately died three years ago :/

That's not quite how I've pictured Finnick in my head, but yeah. I could see it.

I thought he was good in Snow White & the Huntsman, and I have faith in the casting department since I originally hated Josh H. as Peeta and then was converted watching it.

I feel the same way---I really have no opinion, though I saw him act in POTC & Snow White and the Huntsman.
