Needless to say, because of all the family stuff going on, I've missed out on following all of the Comic-Con updates quite as thoroughly as possible. I've been trying to play catch-up, and so far I've seen the following:
No details yet, but everyone is hoping that they aren't going to completely skip over the fact that Black Widow very much has a history that is tied in with the Winter Soldier's own background.
I'm more worried that Black Widow will be reduced to 'Winter Soldier's ex-girlfriend.' I want them to acknowledge Black Widow's history so very badly (preferably in her own movie!), but that history does not revolve entirely around Winter Soldier and I'd hate to see such a complicated and multi-layered backstory reduced to "this is the man I angst about." Basically I want them to do it right.
Right now, I'm hoping that they'll touch on her background with the Winter Soldier in CA2, and then - once that movie is out - they'll give her an origins film of her own. Because, yes, her backstory deserves to be treated right.
Let's see...also, Karen still wants to be on Inspector Spacetime and Matt will settle for any role on Community at all...
I love that we're getting a big budget, lots of special effects Baum film to match his creativity...seriously, his books are so messed up and I love it. Plus, cast is awesome!
Yes, exactly, Ant-Man is a necessary evil in order to have Janet, Wanda and Vision... I don't hate him, he's just...I've always found him boring.
CA2 is supposed to have both Natasha AND Clint as of two weeks ago...we'll see, obviously, Natasha is a definite now...further confirmed by Scarlett not being in IM3 or T2...and you can't just suddenly leave her out after building her character in two movies...

Umm, other than that...not sure...Thor title and synopsis told nothing new whatsoever and Feige tried to shoot down Science Bros...but he killed Phil so I'm not sure I like him that well...
