If anyone hasn't heard yet, Borders has filed for bankruptcy. They're closing 200 stores (and possibly more than that in the near future), listed here (.pdf file).

They've released the title of the next Sherlock Holmes film.

Borders shut in the UK in 2009. All bookshops are now facing a real mess financially as the likes of Amazon sell books so cheaply.

I'm relieved to hear that none of the Borders in my state are closing... for now.

I have yet to do my taxes. NERVES AUGHH I HATE THIS SO MUCH

Thanks for bringing this to my attention! I was quite sad that I couldn't take the time off to make it there, so a non-attending membership with a shiny, shiny vid DVD would be just the thing!
