For those of you who have started reading my journal sometime since last August, I'm going to apologize (and warn you) now. For the next two weeks, I'm probably going to make a lot of rambling posts that basically amount to "OMG!!! It's almost time for Vividcon!!!"

Sorry? Well, no, I'm not. But I can pretend! BWA-HA-HA-HA!Anyway, VVC people, what ( Read more... )

How did I know you were going to say that? :-P

I've seen episodes here and there, enough to at least have an idea about plot and such. Who knows? Maybe the LotS vids this year will convince me to watch it all the way through.

On the bright side it's only 2 seasons, and you can probably start with (in my opinion, the far superior) season 2 without missing much, so not as big of a time investment as something like BSG. (Also - hee about your LotR icon!)

Plus I've probably seen at least 50% of the episodes already. Just in... really random order.

I'm not a VVC person, but I'd guess Legend of the Seeker, given its exploding popularity, and also if you actually care about Lost at all, how can you wander around in the world while behind? I've encountered spoilers to that in sermons at church and on restaurant menus and at the post office.

I quit watching about three years ago, and I said that - once the series ended - I'd sit down and watch it from beginning to end. I just couldn't keep watching it as it aired, because the plot was moving so. damn. slow.

Surprisingly enough, I really haven't been spoiled. I don't know anyone in RL who watched it, or at least cared about it enough to actually talk about it with other people.
