I totally feel for you. I've been in the same place, with pneumonia no less, and in my experience your boss and co-workers would prefer you fully recovered after a few extra days rest to you coming in too early, still sick, and prolonging your recovery. If you're healthy, you'll be better at your job and, besides, since you're in the service industry I'd think the last thing you'd want is to appear sick to customers.

So, yeah. Stay home and take as long as you need, no guilt required. It's better for everybody in the long run. ♥

So would your customers!

You're doing the right thing by taking care of yourself.

Keep reminding yourself that later on, when someone else needs to be out, you'll happily step in to pick up the slack. :)

Inner ear infection??

I hope the doc on Monday figures it out! And stop feeling guilty! You're sick!! You need to get better and next time, if anyone else gets sick, you can cover for them to make it up.

::hugs::

Feel better soon.

Dear settiai's conscience, please stop it with the gulit-tripping already. Walking pneumonia, hacking coughs and ear infections are no laughing matter, and it's perfectly okay to call in sick for this.

Get well soon!
