Well, I'm still alive(ish)...

On the plus side, I've upgraded from "curled up in fetal position under blankets" which is the position I've been in for approximately the past 24 hours. Admittedly, I'm only at the "sit up on bed, with four pillows propping me up, still covered in blankets" stage, but at least I'm feeling well enough to be on my laptop. *dramatic sigh* Sadly, my ( Read more... )

inlovewithnight's been keeping me semi-informed about everything that's been going on with the Supernatural fandom the past few days, so I at least have a working knowledge about what's going on that front. I wish that I didn't, to be honest, but... yeah. :-/

{{{hugs}}}

Make that cat run out and get you some yogurt. Those antibiotics are also taking out the good-bacteria in the places you need it, like your digestive system. ...we will not speak of yeast infections, but that can happen too ;-)

If yogurt's not your thing, acidophilus pills can be had from the pharmacy counter. They're over-the-counter supplements, same good bacteria that's in yogurt. They keep them in a fridge usually, that's why they're behind the counter.

I asked Racetrack if she'd like to run out and get me some yogurt, but she sort of glared at me, bit my foot, and ran off. I'm hoping that inlovewithnight might be able to grab some on her way home, though. I haven't had much of an appetite, to be honest, but some plain yogurt sounds like something I might actually be able to eat.

I'm just happy that my managers don't seem to be too worried about me having to be out. I think the fact that I worked all weekend (because they were really understaffed) even though I felt like crap is probably working in my favor, though.

I'm sure there are no worried there. Walking pneumonia is serious though, so they need to understand that. OUCH, also.
