Summary: It all began with stealing and Kyuhyun soon found out that not only did Zhou Mi take his doll, he managed to take Kyuhyun's heart as well!

*

He paced back and forth for the umpteenth time, already making a short path-mark right in front of this... odd building. Scratch that, this unbelievable building was covered with vines, stood away from other simple bungalows and looked so so old - like a historical sight with a twist, European! Was there a place like this near the school, Kyuhyun never knew before.

A flashback crossed his mind and remembered how worried Sungmin was when he announced that he was paying a visit to Seasoning, or so that was what he remembered easily about Zhou Mi the senior's identity. According to reliable resources, aka Yesung and Ryeowook (the dynamic duo of information) that Zhou Mi lived in an all-boy dormitory called SJ Dormitories ran by the infamous Park Jungsoo. No, he wasn't going there to meet his admirer but to claim Mimi back.

Because after that incident inside the infirmary, Zhou Mi refused showing up, much less made any contact with Kyuhyun. And yes, it bothered Cho Kyuhyun to an extent that he had to see the man himself. How could he possibly get Mimi back when the captor was missing in action all the time at school? Even seniors Heechul and Han Geng, now their buddies, much to Heechul's persistence on, we're in-laws, now! Show some brotherly loooove! statement, he pretty much had no choice but to confront him because the couple couldn't.

Sungmin was too eager to be friends with them. Kyuhyun on the other hand sensed even more catastrophe up ahead.

Back at the problem at hand, he stood idly in front of the gate watching and observing and doing some relaying on how to go about this. Maybe he should try, “Hey, is someone this tall and this happy and this loud lived here?” or “Excuse me, but my doll's in there at the hands of my-- okay, never mind.” or “Does a Seasoning stay here?”

“Ah, why, there is!”

Kyuhyun nearly jumped and tumbled with the trash bins at the side when a figure loomed behind him, beaming too enthusiastically while holding a grocery of vegetable. He watched Kyuhyun with a knowing look but said nothing, and instead beamed even more. “I'm Leeteuk, landlord here and goes by the real name Park Jungsoo. If you're looking for Zhou Mi, he's in there. Would you like me to seek you there? Ah, also, have supper with us! We rarely have visitors!”

“No, wait! I was just--

And before Kyuhyun knew it, he was dragged inside with such breeze that he didn't understand how someone like Leeteuk, skinny and somewhat petite, had such strength? They stopped; Kyuhyun wheezing for moment, finally took a glance around and awed.

Musical instruments were laid around, from simple percussion to expensive keyboards, displayed like candies in a sweet-shop. On the right were notes and guidelines and to the left were trophies - silver, platinum and gold. What was this, some kind of famous band's dormitory that had tenants as amazing musicians and artists? Kyuhyun liked the sound of that. A lot.

“Sorry for the mess! The boys are just so...” Leeteuk trailed off as he turned to corner, to the kitchen perhaps. Kyuhyun stood stupidly, as if he was in a different dimension and wanted nothing more than to grab any instrument he could reach and play, even though clueless to anything because he was the voice-type-instrument. Couldn't play a simple instrument unless threatened to, he resolved.

“Zhou Mi’s probably at his room. Haven’t seen him down here since this morning! Kids shouldn’t cage themselves inside---KANGIN! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!”

Something swift passed behind Kyuhyun and he thought that there was something big, like a wild animal on the loose but instead was graced with a man on his boxers holding... a large pink blouse? Said shirtless man was in rage and had the interesting piece of article between his fingers, gingerly dangling it on the air.

“Where’s Eunhyuk?! I’mma gonna kill that bastard for mixing my white shirt with his laundry! Just look at what he did, Hyung! My favorite workout top ruined! For fuck’s sake, show me the bastard!”

Eeteuk gulped and gestured Kyuhyun to move away, pointing the stairs going upward and mouthing, Go, now. Danger, coming. The young man quickly scampered away, his mind clouded with, This dormitory is seriously insane!

He got away safely and would be running back later to check the nice man if the latter was still alive. He should be, he was the infamous Park Jungsoo!

The second floor looked relatively normal compared to the messy first floor; the latter consisted with lots of doors at both sides, each entrance with interesting labels on it: Hankyung with Chinese implications, Kibum with flashing light bulbs (like Hollywood, thought amusedly by Kyuhyun), Shindong with a bowl of ramen stickers and many, many more. By the end of the hallway, a simple Zhou Mi sign caught Kyuhyun’s attention and for a moment, he wondered, should he just barge inside or knock like any normal person?

Never mind that thought, the door was slightly open and there was a faint sound of running water. Kyuhyun peeked inside, quietly and stealthily, and saw an empty bed, organized desk, accessories displayed, Mimi sitting happily on thick books, another door leading somewhere - bathroom, for sure - and a big close-

HOLD ONE MINUTE. JUST HOLD ONE MINUTE HERE. DID HE JUST SEE MIMI THERE!?

He reached for it without a second thought and there it was, on his palm was his prized possession from China: Mimi still had his bright smile, raven-kissed crown and porcelain skin and fashionable clothes. No damage, no misplacement and no distortion, as what senior Heechul confidently claimed.

Mimi was in perfect condition, just like how Kyuhyun remembered it last. He couldn't believe it - both the fact that Mimi was okay and that his heart was beating rapidly inside his chest with reasons unknown.

There was a rummaging sound, followed by a door opening and revealing a towel-covered Zhou Mi, wet, glistening and... and...

Kyuhyun swallowed, easing that uncomfortable lump on his throat. “...and hot.”

He was too busy flicking his damp hair and by the time he realized he wasn't alone inside his room, Zhou Mi glanced around with lucid eyes and saw Kyuhyun's own orbs too glued on him, standing from a spot he wasn't supposed to. Heck, Kyuhyun wasn't supposed to be there at all - at this time of hour, inside his room, in a building he shouldn't know in the first place.

Zhou Mi shrieked; a deafening, high-pitched shriek enough to rival any girl's.

*

Donghae trudged down the stairs, but his head turned to where the scream was, worried and wondering. “Is Zhou Mi okay? The last time I hear him shout like that was when cockroaches infested his shower a couple of weeks ago.”

“He's fine.” Was all Eeteuk's reply while soothing an upset Kangin with treats. “He should be, his little crush is over.”

“What, really?! I GOTTA SEE HIM THEN!” The eager Donghae was ready to dash upstairs when Landlord got him by the sleeves and sat him down next to a stuffed Kangin, now less upset, and shook a finger at the younger male.

“No, you won't! You'll stay here and let them by themselves!”

*

He was stuttering now, much worse than rambling nonstop, and felt his knees weakening and head spinning. He only had a towel on and the cold temperature sent him shivering and should take this a sign to wear proper, AND WARM clothes now. But how could he when Kyuhyun - looking extra good and handsome, Zhou Mi gulped - stood between him and his treasured closet?

“W-w-w-what are you doing here...?!” He just had to let that out, without realizing that on Kyuhyun's hands was Mimi the doll and, yes, afterwards, he did mental head-slap. He's here to take the doll, stupid. Doy! I'm doomed as hell!

“Heechu-- I mean, your friend, the one with longer hair, told me about you and the reason why you took this.” He raised Mimi carefully and then tenderly tucked it on his arms. Zhou Mi, awed and breath-taken now that Cho Kyuhyun was talking to him - at the worse possible moment but, hell, who cared?! - remained quiet, submissive to anything that was coming right at him.

“That's why I'm taking it back. I want my Mimi back--” Kyuhyun trailed off, with a hint of seriousness in his voice. Was that anger Zhou Mi was also hearing? Disappointment? Irritation? Zhou Mi had finally did it! Kyuhyun would be dumping him now for stealing and pretending and embarrassing himself even before he could properly do anything an--

“--only if you promise to show yourself at school next week Monday.”

What?

Wait, what?

*

There, he finally did it - claiming Mimi and saying what he wanted to say. Now was the best time to hurry out the room, hide his already hot face and take Mimi home where it belonged before Zhou Mi noticed his red cheeks and faltering voice.

The knob was already close to his fingertips when a strong hand slammed against the door, successfully stopping any further attempt of escaping. Kyuhyun looked up and gasped when Zhou Mi's face was dangerously close to his, this almost skin-ship interaction made his heart leap out of his throat.

“What did you say? Do you want to see me? At school? For real?”

“Err, maybe?”

Zhou Mi's smile was infectious and did more damage with Kyuhyun's already racing heart. He then inched closer, possibly even nearer than allowed but Kyuhyun wasn't complain when he felt the droplets from Zhou Mi's damp hair to his skin. Where was that blabbering-mouth guy before? Since when did that guy change to this sultry, fine-looking male standing so sexily in front of him?

“I like Mimi, by the way.”

“You do, huh? I like him, err, it, too.”

“Ah, but I like you even more.”

“You do, huh--

Kyuhyun's breathing hitched when he felt Zhou Mi grazed his fresh-from-the-showers face against his, rubbing his smooth, soft cheeks to his. It wasn't a kiss nor a hug but a simple form a newly profound intimacy and Kyuhyun found himself blacking out. His head processed nothing and his heart just thumped too loudly inside. And where the hell did the butterflies in his tummy come from?!

Heechul wasn't kidding when he said that Seasoning was damn romantic. He really, really was.

“Kui Xian, go out with me, please?”

There was no more stuttering, no more insane rambling idiotically, only happy smiles and shy glances and the occasional gentle touching. Cho Kyuhyun had never felt such happiness brought about by this living sunshine.

Maybe receiving and losing Mimi was not a mistake, after all this time. It was fate that it did to meet Zhou Mi, his long-time shy admirer of the senior batch. Kyuhyun pretty much thought of that, after nuzzling back against Zhou Mi tender caresses.

“Aigoo, I should really change.”

“You should.”

That statement was followed by loud sneeze, then a sniffle.

*

“Kui Xian, look!” A bubbly Zhou Mi bounced next to Kyuhyun with a small bag in hand - a present more like it - and Sungmin curiously watched them from the sides. “Clothes!”

“For you? They're kind... small, Zhou Mi. I mean the package.” Kyuhyun remarked with questioning brow as the trio made their way inside the cafeteria. Finally settling down, Zhou Mi shoved the bag to Kyuhyun's hands.

“Open it! You'll like it!”

Kyuhyun and Sungmin exchanged wondering gazes for a brief moment until deciding to open the gift and pulling out a set of ultra small - no man nor child would fit - clothing and accessories. Zhou Mi clapped merrily while the two stared in dumbfound.

“For KyuMi! I sew them!”

“Ah.”

As expected from the thoughtful Zhou Mi to create adorable clothes for KyuMi - previously known as Mimi, this was the third set of clothes he had sewn in a month. He was saying something about how good-looking and wonderful KyuMi was that it had to wear chic clothes all the time. Funny thing was, whatever Zhou Mi wore during their dates, he made a small version of it for KyuMi to wear. He also said something about buying a custom-made ball-jointed doll that had Kyuhyun's features.

Kyuhyun smiled at that. He just loved this idiot even more. Whether it was his sweetness or dorkiness, it didn't matter really.

“Hey, that's Kibum! And, wait, there's something on his arms--

The trio looked at the direction of Zhou Mi's dorm-mate walking with such refinement and poise that everyone inside the cafeteria seemed to have noticed his presence. Because not only did his face and smile caught attention, the doll on his arm caught eyes as well.

“Isn't that... YOU, SUNGMIN?!” Kyuhyun gaped, pointing at the doll with child-like facial characteristic, beautiful blonde hair and pink attire. Zhou Mi observed closely, only to nod convincingly at the sight of the doll.

“Ah! It does look like you, Sungmin!”

Sungmin turned beet red than never before and sunk lowly at his seat. “No way... Kibum...” He blushed even more.

From where he sat, next to Heechul and Han Geng, Kibum whispered quietly. “Do you think he noticed it?”

“Trust me, Kibum. It did. Wait until you guys bump with each other! Falling down the stairs, confronting inside the infirmary and meeting you at the dorm are a must!”

Han Geng sighed and shook his head before having the last of fried rice on his plate, bracing himself for another round of trouble, all thanks to his nosy lover.

“There goes Heechul again.”

A/N: And so it ends! My very first 3+ QMi chapter done and it's all because I'm having a similar situation like what Zhou Mi had, minus the stealing and the dorm-thingy. CONFESSION! That's all there is to it! And yes, I listen too much SJ-M songs (YOU KNOW, WHEN YOU REALLY LOVE SOMEONE, JUST GO FOR IT!).

Tee hee! Thank you for tuning in, I hope you guys liked the ending! There'd be some stand-alone epilogues, extras and one-shots based on this, well, maybe?
