If stale beer on mouldy linoleum had a soundtrack, it would be country music. Holy shit. There are some guys working on tearing up the floor in the kitchen right now and they brought their own little radio which they've tuned to the local country station. I haven't watched it years but I still love Kevin Smith and that's one of his best.

I was shocked about this because I really, really thought Affleck was largely out of the leading man action movie business. Like the movies or not, The Town and Argo were respectably successful films (the latter more than the former) and I thought Affleck would have gotten the message that he was at a point in his career that he could stay behind the camera.

I have to wonder if there's some kind of professional feud going on how with him and Matt Damon, to see who can last longer as leading man box office draw. Hint: You're starting from behind, Ben. Also, Matt: seriously, give it up. You're ready to move on. Go with dignity now. No one needs another Tom Cruise or Will Smith or fucking Bruce Willis.

The take away that I think everyone needs from this is that I fucking hate Zac Snyder.

I think Matt Damon would've actually been a decent choice to play Batman. It would be interesting to see him do it in the vein of The Talented Mr. Ripley.

This is what my contemplation on the issue led me to conclude. That and fuck tons of money.
