Take unto Thee His Burrito, His Burrito is Good

Lately I've been getting lunch often at a relatively new Mexican place called K39 Taco Shop. They have bizarrely cheap burritos--I like to get bean and rice burritos and almost every other place in town has them for around two dollars. K39 has them for a dollar twenty five and they're not cooked with lard. To-day, the pretty young cashier greeted ( Read more... )

From now on I think I'll say I'm swallowing Christ's hot protein.

...

As for the other events of Ahab’s reign, including all he did, the palace he built and adorned with ivory, and the cities he fortified, are they not written in the book of the annals of the kings of Israel?

Aw, I've never actually read The Long Dark Tea Time of the Soul. As far as Douglas Adams goes, I've only read the Hitchhiker books and have watched the Doctor Who episodes. But that thing's pretty funny, especially right now when I've had a lot of scotch and am sleep deprived.

The Dirk Gently books are great! Although I'm not sure how much I'd have liked Holistic Detective Agency if I'd seen 'City of Death' and 'Shada' first.

Hmm. And what of Ahab's tacos? Are they so recorded in the annals of Israel, is record preserved of his ground beef he adorned with the decadence of cilantro, salsa, and sour cream?

Possibly all those except the sour cream. You know with the milk/beef problem written in the few books prior to Kings. On the other hand, if they stuck to the beans, then pile on the sour cream and cheese!
