The Elusive Tom Baker

To-day I noticed the official Doctor Who YouTube channel has a few condensed versions of Tom Baker serials. They squeezed the four episodes of Masque of Mandragara into just thirty minutes:

It's fine for about fifteen minutes and then it stops making sense. Characters appear who seem to know the Doctor and Sarah without having been introduced them

I have the whole Classic Who series (before they started to reconstructthe earliest Doctors from stills and soundtracks) stored somewhere on an external hard drive. Tom Baker was "my" Doctor.

I had fantasies about knitting a Season 18 scarf -- that's the one with only three colors. I spent a small fortune buying the yarn, which had been custom-dyed by an enthusiast, only to discover that I loathe knitting with chenille.

Tom Baker is my favourite as well. I'd love to have a scarf like his, I can't imagine having the stamina to make one.
