A long-time reader of your blog here, just writing in to express to you how much I appreciate your writing. I have particularly enjoyed your recent posts while on the road. I wish you good luck in getting to Japan at a time when travel has become unexpectedly more difficult. I hope, for the benefit of myself and others, however many there may be, who read, and if they read surely enjoy, your blog, that you can continue blogging pretty regularly, also from Japan.
