Frenzy is a favourite of mine. It's Hitchcock returning to his roots. I think Jon Finch is mis-cast (I just don't believe in him as a boozy RAF type) but otherwise it hardly puts a foot wrong. And it has several classic sequences. People who say Marnie was Hitch's last great film are wrong.

He is kind of one of those actors who always seems like he's playing an actor. I do kind of like him--in Polanski's Macbeth and the Henry IV he's in.

Oh, I liked it a lot better than Marnie. Marnie looked like it was shot by someone still clinging to shooting in false exteriors while Frenzy shows Hitchcock was able to adapt to the demand for more realistic exteriors.
