I really wanted to go to the This American Life simulcast but I didn't want to pay for a ticket XD I'm glad you enjoyed it though.
I've watched a few shows for this season so far and I think I'll probably end up following 8 or so again this season. I like Atashinchi no Danshi if only because the cast is full of actors I like. Overall I agree that this season will not be that great, especially compared to last season which had several really great shows.
Project Runway is an addictive show. I try not to acknowledge it's existence in seasonal box sets lest I go broke catching up on all the episodes I've missed. :)
