If only I'd have read this BEFORE the election!

"As most people know, John Kerry has been attempting to mislead America's youth by lying to them regarding the "great potential" of a draft if George Bush is re-elected. Kerry seems all to comfortable standing in front of Americans and lying to their face with baseless claims about a draft, but it is actually Kerry that has proposed a plan (this ' ( Read more... )

ummm... community service=bad? johnny_highway November 8 2004, 06:27:22 UTC
why is it such a bad thing that people would be required to do community service? doesnt that help out less fortunate people and improve the integrity of the people doing it? or are you talking about "liberal" community service which differs from normal "conservative" community service. I heard that in "liberal" community service people are required to hit at least 48 senior citizens in the knee caps with baseball bats and start and commit at least 13 arsons before they are aloud to graduate.

but i guess with george bush around, there will be enough people without jobs to do all the community service before all the greedy children get to it.

ps-the election is over

Hey if you actually read what i posted you'll realize that the point is that he wanted to make it mandatory for all high school students to perform "community service" which was previously, on the same page, referred to as: "two years of national service." sounds like a draft to me.

PS: Re-read the subject line in my post douche. (that was not an animostic 'douche' calling, just a playful jest at your make-up)

"If Only I Read This Before The Election" Seth seriously...the election was last week...its over...your precious Bush won..we know you hate liberal people, don't say you don't since you have posted many quotes from the "ihateliberal" website. I could pull many things about Bush out of my ass from random websites...that's what your doing...you said earlier how all liberals get their information from websites and Michael Moore...look what your doing. At least Kerry served his country...and community service isn't a bad thing....see Kerry wanted to do good for the country, teach teenagers that are handed everything to give back to others...that's not a bad thing Seth..I wish we would have done that in high school..its a good thing helping others..the good Christian thing to do.. Kerry betrayed his country and those that died good god....slow clap for propaganda...stop being so radical about this...the election once again is over and your "side" won so why do you care about Kerry anymore?

i am not radical in any way. you not only missed the point of the post but you are grossly overplaying how "involved" (or whatever you wanna call it) i am. I can post whatever i want in my livejournal. If you dont want to read it, remove me from your friends list. OR you could even scroll past my post when you're reading all your friends' comments! Just b/c I think some of the things on a site called "ihateliberals.com" are enjoyable to read doesnt mean that i hate liberals. I do admit that i cant even believe how INCREDIBLY stupid SOME of them are. but that doesnt mean i think that about all of them and it also doesnt mean that I hate any of them. the POINT of what he said there is that John Kerry was referring to a draft when he said "community service" ok? it could be true, it could be not true. believe what you want but dont you condemn me for finding something amusing

Hey there Seth. I didn't read anything on your post, but on a human level, I just wanted to see how you're doing. I read a comic today, and it reminded me of you. It was a Christian rocker saying that the best thing about being a Christian rocker was that you never have trouble finding something to write about...well, that and the blow.

I don't know man, it made me giggle. I'll find it for you. Whether you think it's distasteful or not.

You should come up to MSU sometime, it's a good place. You can come crash with me and my foreign roommate. She'll teach you how to do the cha cha.
