New Laptop?

Alright, Zan spent the afternoon convincing me I shouldn't get a new laptop because I don't NEED one.

How does everyone else feel? Should I spend $2,500 on a new MacBook Pro? Or just live with the outdated laptop I have?

I really want the new one, because its replacing BOTH of my computers, the mac and the pc. I really need it so i can play games again. I'd like to try out LOTR online, but its pc only. The new laptop will run it :(

Well, what do you need it for? If the one you have is working fine, then I don't see a lot of reason not to wait - the technology will only get better (and hopefully cheaper) with more time, right?

If, however, you are working with a computer with a cracked screen which grinds to a complete stop every time you look sideways at the smudge tool, that's another issue. ^^

The problem is, if I don't do it this spring, I won't be able to pull it off again until next tax return :(
