Man. :( That's rough. I'm really glad things are starting to settle down for you though. My parents divorced when I was 3, so I've never known anything different. I still can't imagine what it feels like to have your parents split during a time when you're aware of it happening. :( *hugs*
Also, sending mega good vibes for you and your mom as well. :( I wish I were in a better position to help. I dunno, watch over dogs or somethin! I know it's cliche but things will get better. Anytime I've been in a rut where I couldn't possibly see how I'd come out okay, things have worked out. Maybe it's not the way we want it, or even need it to happen, but it will work out.
